Our Sustainability Aims
Here at exocet® we understand the importance of corporate sustainability. We know our use of plastic bottles is questioned by our customers, especially those from larger organisations with corporate sustainability objectives.
Our long term aim is to reach Full Life Cycle Usage of all the material we use or supply.
We are currently working towards this aim. See our changes and efforts to help to improve our sustainability and reach our goal.
Plastic Bottles
Within this industry our goods have to be packaged securely, it is our duty of care to maintain package integrity. However, since 2015, after a supplier change, all 100ml, 200ml, 500ml and 1 litre bottles have been made from 60% recycled plastic.
We also offer a collection service for used containers, whilst these are not re-used, they are recycled.
Outer Packaging
Our plastic outer packaging will be phased out from Q4 of 2021, we will instead be moving to recycled cardboard outer packaging.
Production Waste
Any residual material from collected plastic bottles, process and sample waste is recycled as fuel for kilns and furnaces.
